General Terms and Conditions

All of our services are subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions, unless modified or supplemented by written agreement. These Terms govern the use of this website and the chauffeur and limousine services provided by DERVODELI Luxury Rides ("LuxRides", "we", "us") to the customer ("you"). By submitting a booking request or a message through this website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Offers

Our offers are valid for a limited period, either according to statutory regulations or as specified in the offer itself. All offers are confidential and may only be disclosed to persons directly involved in processing them.

Prices and Bookings

All prices listed on our website are gross (inclusive). All bookings are binding.

The prices shown on the vehicle cards are calculated automatically from the vehicle you select, the calculated route distance, the transfer type (one way or round trip) and any extra hours requested. The same calculation is repeated on our server when your request is submitted, so that the price we receive matches the price shown to you. Third-party costs such as tolls, parking, airport charges, ferry fees or additional stops are not included unless expressly stated. The binding price is the price stated in our written booking confirmation.

Payments

We accept most major credit cards, cash payments in the vehicle, payment by invoice, and payment via bank or postal transfer.

Online card prepayment (Stripe)

If you select card payment when submitting your booking request, you are redirected to a secure payment page operated by Stripe and the amount shown for the selected vehicle and route is charged in advance as a prepayment for the booked service. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s page only; we never receive or store them. The prepaid amount is based on the automatically calculated estimate; third-party costs (tolls, parking, airport charges, ferry fees, additional stops) and any waiting time beyond the free waiting period are invoiced separately after the journey, and a materially changed route may result in an adjusted final price as set out under “Prices and Bookings”.

Submitting the form always sends us your booking request, whether or not the online payment is completed. If you close or cancel the payment page, no amount is charged and we will contact you to arrange payment. A payment is a prepayment only and does not by itself constitute our booking confirmation; if we are unable to perform the requested service, the full prepaid amount is refunded.

Refunds of prepaid amounts

Where a booking has been prepaid by card and is cancelled, the cancellation scale below is applied to the prepaid amount and the portion that is not chargeable is refunded to the card originally used:

• Cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the service: 100% refunded
• Cancellation 24 – 4 hours before the start of the service: 50% refunded (50% retained)
• Cancellation less than 4 hours before the start of the service, or a no-show: no refund

Refunds are processed manually after we receive your cancellation and are returned exclusively to the original means of payment. Depending on your bank, the amount typically appears on your statement within 5 – 10 business days. We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund.

Cancellation policy

In the event of a cancellation, the customer will be charged as follows:

• Up to 24 hours before the start of the service: no charge
• 24 – 4 hours before the start of the service: 50% of the booking amount
• Less than 4 hours before the start of the service, or in case of a no-show: 100% of the booking amount

Cancellations must be sent to kontakt@luxrides.ch or +41 76 413 07 19. A no-show occurs when the passenger does not appear at the agreed pickup location within the agreed waiting time and cannot be reached.

Waiting Time

For standard transfers, 15 minutes of waiting time are included free of charge. For airport pickups, 60 minutes from the actual landing time are included free of charge. Additional waiting time is charged pro rata at the hourly rate of the booked vehicle class.

Liability

DERVODELI Luxury Rides accepts no liability for delays caused by force majeure, traffic congestion, technical breakdowns, incorrect pick-up or destination information, or any other circumstances beyond our control. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; in all other cases our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract, to the extent permitted by law.

Personal property is carried at your own risk; please check the vehicle before leaving.

Working and Rest Time Regulations (ARV 1, ARV 2)

For your safety and that of our chauffeurs, the Swiss legal regulations on working and rest times for professional passenger transport (ARV 1 and ARV 2) apply to all of our services.

Conduct in the Vehicle

Passengers must comply with applicable law and with the chauffeur's reasonable instructions, including the use of seat belts. Smoking and the consumption of illegal substances are prohibited in our vehicles. We may refuse or terminate carriage where a passenger's behaviour presents a risk to safety, to the vehicle or to other passengers. Cleaning or repair costs caused by a passenger will be charged at cost.

Payment Conditions

Payment must be made by bank or postal transfer, or by credit card, no later than 10 days after completion of the service. We reserve the right to request a different method of payment in certain cases. Withholding payments or offsetting our claims against counterclaims not recognised by us is not permitted. Late payment may incur statutory default interest.

Distance and Journey Time Calculation

Distance and estimated journey time are calculated using publicly available mapping and routing services (OpenStreetMap-based geocoding and routing). These values are indicative only and may differ due to traffic, roadworks, weather, route changes or the exact pickup and drop-off points.

Place of Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject exclusively to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Bülach, Canton of Zurich. Our company will always strive to resolve any differences with customers amicably and by mutual agreement. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time. The version published on this page at the moment your booking is confirmed applies to that booking.
